blueseventy are proud to announce that they are now the official swim partner of Pentathlon GB. The team, which features Olympic medalists, World Champions and multiple World Cup medalists, has selected nero as their race suit of choice for all domestic and international events over the next two seasons.

Modern Pentathlon, was introduced at the 1912 Olympics by Pierre de Coubertin, the founder of the modern Games. It has pool swimming as one of it’s five disciplines, and Britain’s national squad excel, holding world records for the swim section. Multi talented athletes in Modern Penthathlon combine their love of swimming with fencing, show jumping, pistol shooting and running - five sports selected to emulate the experience of a 19th-century cavalry soldier.


With over twenty years experience of developing technical products for swimming, blueseventy’s specific expertise in elite competition pool swimwear can only help athletes in Britain’s national Pentathlon programme achieve their international aspirations over the next two years. The nero range of swimwear has featured in finals at every major championships in swimming, and has already broken world records in Pentathlon swims.



blueseventy’s pledge of support has come at an ideal time for Pentathlon GB Podium and Podium Potential squads, with Rio 2016 qualification up for grabs at the International Federation of Modern Pentathlon (UIPM) World Cup Final in Belarus in June.

The European Championships, scheduled to take place in August at Pentathlon GB's national training base at the University of Bath, close to blueseventy’s European head quarters, also provide a further eight direct qualification places for Rio 2016.
